January 31, 2023: Larned, KS 67550 The Larned Indians (Larned, KS) basketball knocked off the visiting Nickerson Panthers (Nickerson, KS), 49-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Indians (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Halstead (Halstead, KS). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, Halstead went down by Pratt (Pratt, KS), 59-55, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Smoky Valley for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Nickerson will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 58-32 non-league win over Lyons (Lyons, KS). The Vikings record now stands at 9-5.
