Missouri High School Basketball - Monroe City thwarts Hannibal
January 10, 2023: Monroe City, MO 63456 The Monroe City Panthers (Monroe City, MO) basketball knocked off the visiting Hannibal Pirates (Hannibal, MO), 50-39 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Panthers (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Clark County (Kahoka, MO). The Indians go into the Clarence Cannon test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Clark County notched a victory over Illini West (Carthage, IL), 52-43, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kirksville for a North Central Missouri outing on Friday, January 13.
