Mississippi High School Basketball - Ingomar nips Tremont
January 10, 2023: Tremont, MS 38876 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Ingomar Falcons (New Albany, MS) and the host Tremont Eagles (Tremont, MS), saw Ingomar's basketball squad hold off Tremont by a tally of 59-57.
With the victory, Ingomar improves its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to New Albany (New Albany, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 14-5. New Albany lost 61-55 in their recent league challenge against Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS)
Next up, the Eagles play the Ingomar Falcons (New Albany, MS) in a 1A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Tremont will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 11-10 record after their 71-69 non-league loss to New Albany (New Albany, MS).
