Virginia High School Basketball - Kettle Run trounces James Wood
January 10, 2023: Nokesville, VA 20181 The Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) basketball crushed the visiting James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA), 67-27 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cougars (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Fauquier (Warrenton, VA). The Falcons go into the Northwestern test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Fauquier was trounced by Millbrook (Winchester, VA), 64-52, in a league test.
The Colonels now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Millbrook for a Northwestern test on Friday, January 13. James Wood will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 67-50 non-league loss to Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 7-9.
