Kansas High School Basketball - Lawrence can't hold off Olathe East
January 10, 2023: Lawrence, KS 66046 The Olathe East Hawks basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Lawrence Lions to 54 in the Hawks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hawks now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lawrence Free State for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Olathe East will battle a Firebirds team coming off a 64-37 non-league win over Gardner-Edgerton (Gardner, KS). The Firebirds record now stands at 4-1.
The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS). The Jaguars come into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Mill Valley edged Shawnee Mission North (Shawnee Mission, KS), 59-53, in a non-league contest.
