January 10, 2023: Winston-Salem, NC 27101

The Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Millennium Lions to 17 in the Phoenix league triumph on Tuesday.

The Phoenix now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leadership Academy for a 1A Conference 32 bout on Friday, January 13. Winston-Salem Prep will play a Falcons squad coming off a 67-23 league loss to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 9-4.

Next up, the Lions play the Bethany Wolves (Summerfield, NC) in a 1A Conference 32 bout, on Friday, January 13. Millennium will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 56-44 league loss to Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC).
