Alabama High School Basketball - Piedmont tops Weaver
January 10, 2023: Piedmont, AL 36272 Piedmont Bulldogs (Piedmont, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Weaver Bearcats (Weaver, AL), 65-55 in a league bout.
With the victory, Piedmont upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Bremen (Bremen, GA) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Bremen lost 56-31 in their recent league bout against Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA)
Next up, the Bearcats play the Westbrook Christian Warriors (Rainbow City, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Weaver will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
