Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Pine-Richland holds off Seneca Valley
January 10, 2023: Harmony, PA 16037 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA) and the host Seneca Valley Raiders (Harmony, PA), saw Pine-Richland's basketball squad hold off Seneca Valley by a tally of 59-58.
With the victory, Pine-Richland improves its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Rams host New Castle (New Castle, PA) to confront the Hurricanes in a WPIAL 6A 1 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. New Castle lost 56-45 in their recent league challenge against Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA)
Next up, the Raiders confront the North Allegheny Tigers (Wexford, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 1 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Seneca Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 63-50 league loss to Butler (Butler, PA).
