The Shelton Chargers basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Vanguard College Prep Vikings to 49 in the Chargers league victory on Tuesday.

The Chargers now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McKinney Christian Academy for a TAPPS 4A District 2 contest on Friday, January 13. Shelton will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 61-41 league win over Covenant (Dallas, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 23-7.

The Vikings (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against All Saints Episcopal (Tyler, TX). The Trojans come into the TAPPS 4A District 2 contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, All Saints Episcopal was defeated by Brook Hill (Bullard, TX), 56-21, in a league contest.
