January 10, 2023: Albertville, MN 55376 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Waconia Wildcats (Waconia, MN), by a count of 72-45.
The Knights (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Wayzata smashed Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN), 73-62, in a non-league outing.
The Wildcats now hold a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Edina for a AAAA Section 2 outing on Friday, January 13. Waconia will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 65-62 non-league win over Jefferson (Bloomington, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 5-4.
