Minnesota High School Basketball - Sartell-St. Stephen knocked off by Waconia
February 18, 2023: Sartell, MN 56377 The Waconia Wildcats basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres to 49 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benilde-St. Margaret's for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Waconia will battle a Red Knights team coming off a 68-55 non-league win over Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN). The Red Knights record now stands at 19-3.
The Sabres (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against Brainerd (Brainerd, MN). The Warriors enter the AAAA Section 8 contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Brainerd ran past Buffalo (Buffalo, MN), 73-59, in a league contest.
