January 10, 2023: Weirton, WV 26062 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) and the host Weir Red Riders (Weirton, WV), saw Linsly's basketball squad overcome Weir by a tally of 71-57.
With the victory, Linsly improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Cadets host Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 7-1.
Next up, the Red Riders confront the Madonna Blue Dons (Weirton, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Weir will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Blue Dons come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 68-32 non-league win over Cameron (Cameron, WV).
