Texas High School Basketball - Panhandle overwhelms Boys Ranch
January 10, 2023: Boys Ranch, TX 79010 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX) and the host Boys Ranch Roughriders (Boys Ranch, TX), saw Panhandle's basketball squad wallop Boys Ranch by a tally of 82-31.
With the victory, Panhandle improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Vega (Vega, TX) to confront the Longhorns in a 2A Region I District 3 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Vega won 66-34 in their recent league challenge against Highland Park (Amarillo, TX)
Next up, the Roughriders confront the Bovina Mustangs (Bovina, TX) in a 2A Region I District 3 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Boys Ranch will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 67-25 league loss to Farwell (Farwell, TX).
