January 10, 2023: New Braunfels, TX 78132 The Brentwood Christian Bears (Austin, TX) basketball felled the host John Paul II Guardians (New Braunfels, TX), 55-47 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bears (6-18) will now prepare for their test against Regents (Austin, TX). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Regents was beaten by St. Andrew's (Austin, TX), 38-16, in a non-league test.
The Guardians now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Hill Country Christian School of Austin for a TAPPS 4A District 3 test on Friday, January 13. John Paul II will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 43-41 league win over Texas School for the Deaf (Austin, TX). The Knights record now stands at 12-8.
