Louisiana High School Basketball - New Iberia nudges David Thibodaux
January 10, 2023: New Iberia, LA 70560 New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting David Thibodaux Bulldogs (Lafayette, LA), 53-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New Iberia upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 18-6. Thibodaux won 68-18 in their recent non-league bout against GEO Next Generation (Baton Rouge, LA)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Elton Indians (Elton, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. David Thibodaux will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 13-10 record after their 48-30 non-league loss to Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA).
