Edwardsburg Eddies (Edwardsburg, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI), 36-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Edwardsburg upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Eddies travel to Niles (Niles, MI) to clash with the Vikings in a Wolverine B bout on Friday, January 13. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Niles lost 64-46 in their recent non-league bout against Beatty (Cassopolis, MI)
