Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI) and the visiting Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI), saw Lakeshore's basketball squad knock off Portage Central by a count of 40-24.

With the victory, Lakeshore upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Lancers host Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 30. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 14-0. Vicksburg won 62-24 in their recent league challenge against Otsego (Otsego, MI)
