Connecticut High School Basketball - Farmington holds off Wethersfield
January 10, 2023: Farmington, CT 06032 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Farmington River Hawks (Farmington, CT) and the visiting Wethersfield Eagles (Wethersfield, CT), saw Farmington's basketball squad hold off Wethersfield by a tally of 47-46.
With the victory, Farmington improves its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The River Hawks travel to Southington (Southington, CT) to confront the Blue Knights in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Blue Knights come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Southington lost 58-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Enfield (Enfield, CT)
Next up, the Eagles confront the East Haven Yellowjackets (East Haven, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Wethersfield will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 47-42 non-league win over Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT).
