Connecticut High School Basketball - Middletown nips Wethersfield
January 6, 2023: Middletown, CT 06457 Middletown Blue Dragons (Middletown, CT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Wethersfield Eagles (Wethersfield, CT), 41-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Middletown upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Blue Dragons travel to Conard (West Hartford, CT) to play the Red Wolves in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Red Wolves come into the bout with a record of 4-1. Conard won 37-28 in their recent league bout against Farmington (Farmington, CT)
Next up, the Eagles play the Farmington River Hawks (Farmington, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Wethersfield will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The River Hawks come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 37-28 league loss to Conard (West Hartford, CT).
