Michigan High School Basketball - Williamston holds off Grand Ledge
January 10, 2023: Grand Ledge, MI 48837 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Williamston Hornets (Williamston, MI) and the host Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI), saw Williamston's basketball squad hold off Grand Ledge by a tally of 55-53.
With the victory, Williamston improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Fowlerville (Fowlerville, MI) to confront the Gladiators in a Capital Area - Red challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a record of 2-9. Fowlerville lost 39-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Eaton Rapids (Eaton Rapids, MI)
Next up, the Comets confront the Okemos Wolves (Okemos, MI) in a Capital Area - Blue challenge, on Friday, January 13. Grand Ledge will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 41-33 non-league loss to Mason (Mason, MI).
