Washington High School Basketball - Walla Walla knocked off by Kennewick
January 10, 2023: Kennewick, WA 99336 The Kennewick Lions basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Walla Walla Blue Devils to 43 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.
In their next game, the Lions meet the Richland Bombers (Richland, WA) in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia match, on Friday, January 13. Kennewick will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Bombers enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 53-50 league loss to Kamiakin (Kennewick, WA).
With the defeat, Walla Walla moves to 5-5 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Pendleton (Pendleton, OR) to meet the Buckaroos in a 4A Greater Oregon match on Friday, January 13. The Buckaroos enter the match with a record of 5-11. Pendleton won 57-10 in their recent league match against Ontario (Ontario, OR)
