Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Kerman Lions (Kerman, CA) and the visiting Selma Bears (Selma, CA), saw Kerman's basketball squad hold off Selma by a tally of 44-40.

With the victory, Kerman improves its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Hanford West (Hanford, CA) to confront the Huskies in a Tri-County challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Hanford West lost 51-41 in their recent league challenge against Immanuel (Reedley, CA)

Next up, the Bears confront the Sierra Pacific Golden Bears (Hanford, CA) in a Tri-County challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Selma will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record.
