Kentucky High School Basketball - Logan County holds off Ohio County
January 10, 2023: Hartford, KY 42347 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY) and the host Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY), saw Logan County's basketball squad hold off Ohio County by a tally of 56-55.
With the victory, Logan County improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Todd County Central (Elkton, KY) to confront the Rebels in a District 13 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Todd County Central lost 44-24 in their recent league challenge against Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY) in a District 10 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Ohio County will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 75-43 non-league loss to Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY).
