Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ravenna Bluejays (Ravenna, NE) and the host Minden Whippets (Minden, NE), saw Ravenna's basketball squad hold off Minden by a tally of 45-44.

With the victory, Ravenna improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Central City (Central City, NE) to confront the Bison in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Bison come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Central City lost 39-16 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Paul (St. Paul, NE)

Next up, the Whippets confront the St. Cecilia Bluehawks (Hastings, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Minden will attempt to improve on its 10-2 season record.
