In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Stanley County Buffalos (Fort Pierre, SD), by a count of 64-42.

The Battlers (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Highmore/Harrold (Highmore, SD). The Pirates go into the B Region 6 outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Highmore/Harrold was crushed by James Valley Christian (Huron, SD), 41-33, in a non-league outing.

The Buffalos now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lyman for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 12. Stanley County will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 47-41 non-league loss to Kadoka (Kadoka, SD). The Raiders record now stands at 0-4.
