Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD), 63-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sully Buttes upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD) to play the Wolverines in a B Region 6 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 6-9. Herreid/Selby lost 71-54 in their recent non-league bout against Lyman (Presho, SD)

Next up, the Battlers play the Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers (Strasburg, ND) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Clippers come into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 53-38 non-league win over Solen (Solen, ND).
