The Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD) basketball knocked off the host North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD), 53-38 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Battlers (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Northwestern Area ran past Langford (Langford, SD), 48-22, in a league contest.

The Thunder (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Strasburg/Zeeland (Strasburg, ND). The Clippers enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Strasburg/Zeeland was defeated by Wakpala (Wakpala, SD), 54-23, in a non-league contest.
