January 6, 2023: Timber Lake, SD 57656 In Friday's non-league outing, the Timber Lake Panthers (Timber Lake, SD) basketball squad edged the visiting Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD), by a count of 60-56.
The Panthers (6-0) will now prepare for their outing against McIntosh (McIntosh, SD). The Tigers enter the B Region 8 match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, McIntosh was nipped by Newell (Newell, SD), 40-10, in a league match.
With the defeat, Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] moves to 4-1 on the year. The Battlers travel to Strasburg/Zeeland (Strasburg, ND) to meet the Clippers in a non-league match on Saturday, January 7. The Clippers enter the match with a record of 3-3. Strasburg/Zeeland won 44-35 in their recent non-league match against Ellendale (Ellendale, ND)
