The Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA), 36-25 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Maroon Tide (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Auburn (Riner, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Auburn notched a victory over Covington (Covington, VA), 33-25, in a non-league test.
