January 10, 2023: Orange, VA 22960 The Orange County Fighting Hornets basketball team (Orange, VA), was overwhelmed 63-30 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA)
The Patriots now possess a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Albemarle for a non-league battle on Friday, January 13. Albemarle will confront a Warriors team coming off a 56-27 non-league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-4.
The Fighting Hornets (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Goochland trounced William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA), 45-31, in a non-league battle.
