January 10, 2023: Rio Rancho, NM 87144 Fans at Tuesday's non-league test between the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM), witnessed La Cueva's basketball squad beat Cleveland by a margin of 51-41.
The Bears (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Cibola went down by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 70-65, in a non-league test.
The Storm now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sandia for a non-league test on Thursday, January 12. Cleveland will encounter a Matadors squad coming off a 55-52 non-league win over Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 8-1.
