North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwestern Randolph thwarts Uwharrie Charter
January 10, 2023: Asheboro, NC 27205 The Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC), 48-37 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (9-8) will now prepare for their test against East Davidson (Thomasville, NC). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league test with a 2-10 record.
The Eagles now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Wheatmore for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Uwharrie Charter will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 61-45 league win over Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 9-6.
