Northwood Falcons (Shreveport, LA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting North DeSoto Griffins (Stonewall, LA), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Falcons confront the Minden Crimson Tide (Minden, LA) in a Division II District 1 challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Northwood will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Crimson Tide enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 7-3 league loss to Parkway (Bossier City, LA).
