Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers (Sun Valley, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology Griffins (Sun Valley, CA), 62-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sun Valley Magnet upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Lake Balboa College Prep (Lake Balboa, CA) to play the Cougars in a Central Valley bout on Friday, January 12. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Lake Balboa College Prep lost 55-18 in their recent non-league bout against Neuwirth Leadership Academy (Los Angeles, CA)
