West Valley Wolf Pack (Fairbanks, AK) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK), 61-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Valley upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Wolf Pack host Lumen Christi (Anchorage, AK) to clash with the Archangels in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Archangels go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Lumen Christi lost 49-35 in their recent non-league bout against Redington (Wasilla, AK)

Next up, the Whalers clash with the Monroe Catholic Rams (Fairbanks, AK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Barrow will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 53-50 non-league loss to Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK).
