January 10, 2024: Buckley, MI 49620 The Buckley Bears (Buckley, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Kingsley Stags (Kingsley, MI), 58-56 in Wednesday's league test.
The Bears (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI). The Norsemen go into the Northwest test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Suttons Bay was tipped by Onekama (Onekama, MI), 67-36, in a league test.
The Stags now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Frankfort for a Northwest test on Friday, January 12. Kingsley will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 70-41 league loss to Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 6-4.
