The Schurz Bulldogs basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Chicago Academy Cougars to 61 in the Bulldogs league victory on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northside for a Chicago Public - White North contest on Wednesday, January 17. Schurz will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 59-40 league win over North Grand (Chicago, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-9.
