Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX) and the host George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX), saw Fort Bend Clements's basketball squad overcome George Ranch by a tally of 59-40.

With the victory, Fort Bend Clements improves its record to 21-0 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX) to play the Knights in a 6A Region III District 20 challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 16-7. Fort Bend Elkins won 58-54 in their recent league challenge against George Ranch (Richmond, TX)

Next up, the Longhorns play the Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 challenge, on Saturday, January 13. George Ranch will attempt to improve on its 14-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 13-14 record after their 58-50 league win over Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX).
