California High School Basketball - Gardena holds off Narbonne
January 10, 2024: Harbor City, CA 90710 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Gardena Panthers (Gardena, CA) and the host Narbonne Gauchos (Harbor City, CA), saw Gardena's basketball squad hold off Narbonne by a tally of 37-35.
With the victory, Gardena improves its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host San Pedro (San Pedro, CA) to confront the Pirates in a Marine challenge on Friday, January 12. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 13-8. San Pedro won 59-47 in their recent league challenge against Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA)
Next up, the Gauchos confront the Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA) in a Marine challenge, on Friday, January 12. Narbonne will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Pilots come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 65-46 league loss to Carson (Carson, CA).
