The Southern Regional Rams basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Liberty Lions to 40 in the Rams non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Rams now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barnegat for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. Southern Regional will battle a Bengals team coming off a 67-47 league loss to Point Pleasant Boro (Point Pleasant, NJ). The Bengals record now stands at 5-6.

The Lions (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Keyport (Keyport, NJ). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Keyport triumphed over Academy for Urban Leadership Charter (Perth Amboy, NJ), 72-43, in a non-league contest.
