January 16, 2024: Manahawkin, NJ 08050 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southern Regional Rams (Manahawkin, NJ) and the visiting Lacey Township Lions (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), saw Southern Regional's basketball squad wallop Lacey Township by a tally of 77-49.
With the victory, Southern Regional improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Brick Township (Brick, NJ) to confront the Green Dragons in a Shore A - South challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Green Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 2-9.
Next up, the Lions confront the Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Lacey Township will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 52-23 league win over Jackson Memorial (Jackson Township, NJ).
