The North Buncombe Black Hawks basketball team (Weaverville, NC), dropped 72-56 in Wednesday's league battle with the host McDowell Titans (Marion, NC)

The Titans now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Enka for a 3A/4A Mountain battle on Friday, January 12. McDowell will battle a Jets team coming off a 80-51 league loss to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Jets record now stands at 6-6.

The Black Hawks (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Enka (Enka, NC). The Jets come into the 3A/4A Mountain battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Enka dropped by McDowell (Marion, NC), 70-40, in a league battle.
