Virginia High School Basketball - Pulaski County falls to Abingdon
January 10, 2024: Abingdon, VA 24210 In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Abingdon Falcons basketball team scored a good 63-53 triumph over the Pulaski County Cougars.
In their next game, the Falcons meet the Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA) in a Mountain match, on Friday, January 12. Abingdon will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Wolfpack enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 68-28 league win over Gate City (Gate City, VA).
With the defeat, Pulaski County moves to 6-6 on the year. The Cougars travel to Salem (Salem, VA) to meet the Spartans in a River Ridge match on Friday, January 12. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 11-1. Salem lost 67-32 in their recent league match against Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA)
