The A.L. Brown Wonders basketball team scored 48 points and held the host East Rowan Mustangs to 45 in the Wonders non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wonders now sport a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Cabarrus for a 4A Greater Metro bout on Friday, January 12. A.L. Brown will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 54-39 league loss to Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-6.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont bout, on Friday, January 12. East Rowan will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 0-12 record after their 65-17 league loss to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC).
