In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting West Rowan Falcons basketball team scored a decisive 87-25 triumph over the A.L. Brown Wonders.

In their next game, the Falcons meet the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont match, on Friday, January 26. West Rowan will attempt to better on its 15-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 9-8 record after their 47-8 league win over Carson (China Grove, NC).

With the defeat, A.L. Brown moves to 10-8 on the year. The Wonders travel to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC) to meet the Ragin' Bulls in a 4A Greater Metro match on Friday, January 26. The Ragin' Bulls enter the match with a record of 15-3. Hickory Ridge lost 59-53 in their recent league match against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC)
