North Carolina High School Basketball - West Rowan overwhelms Concord
February 2, 2024: Mt. Ulla, NC 28125 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) and the visiting Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), saw West Rowan's basketball squad wallop Concord by a tally of 106-30.
With the victory, West Rowan improves its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Falcons host Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to confront the Vikings in a 3A South Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. Central Cabarrus lost 54-27 in their recent league challenge against Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC)
Next up, the Spiders confront the South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Concord will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 63-62 league loss to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC).
