North Carolina High School Basketball - West Rowan overwhelms Lake Norman Charter

January 19, 2024: Huntersville, NC 28078

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) and the host Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), saw West Rowan's basketball squad wallop Lake Norman Charter by a tally of 76-20.

With the victory, West Rowan improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to confront the Raiders in a 3A South Piedmont challenge on Monday, January 22. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. South Rowan lost 56-12 in their recent league challenge against Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

Next up, the Knights confront the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 45-42 league loss to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC).
