Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), 59-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central Cabarrus upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-8. East Mecklenburg won 48-19 in their recent non-league bout against North Gaston (Dallas, NC)

Next up, the Knights clash with the North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 48-19 non-league loss to East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
