December 8, 2023: China Grove, NC 28023

Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), 45-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Central Cabarrus upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC) to play the Ragin' Bulls in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Ragin' Bulls come into the bout with a record of 5-1.

Next up, the Cougars play the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont bout, on Friday, December 15. Carson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
