East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), 92-14 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Lincoln upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Bessemer City won 55-42 in their recent non-league bout against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 55-42 non-league loss to Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC).
